DIY NINJA TURTLE CHRISTMAS TREE

Hello Readers and Happy Monday!
This is going to be my last post before the Holidays. I will probably pop in after Christmas, but I am planning to take a little break from blogging to enjoy the holidays and winter break with my family.
A couple of weeks ago we made some fun Ninja Turtle ornaments with my older son. The ninja turtle craze started last year and then stopped for a little bit, but it is back again in the house. He really loved the idea of making some awesome ninja turtles ornaments and he loved the idea even better when I told him that we are actually making their own “ DIY Ninja Turtles Christmas tree” for their room.
So fun!
DIY Ninja Turtles Christmas tree
I bought green ornaments and I used yarn ( I had it at home) to make their headband.
Materials needed to make the ornaments:
– green ornaments
– hot glue gun
– red, orange, purple and blue yarn
– plastic eyes (from $1 store)
It was really a lot of fun to make with my love.
We made a few Jake and a Nederland Pirot ones too…with styro foam balls and red fabric.:-)
Then we decided to hang these fun ornaments on a DIY ” Christmas tre e”.
I purchased some of these wooden sticks ( from home depot- 89c/ piece) for another project little while ago ( the project never been made:-) and we created this hanging tree.
First, we measured out each stick and then my hubby drilled a little tiny hole in each of them, and I used twine to make a triangle shape.
Then I hung all the DIY Ninja Turtles ornaments and some additional smaller ornaments to make it more colorful
to their already colorful room.
Isn’t it so cute?
It adds such fun decor to their room for the Holidays!
Oh, and this is a little sneak peek of their room as well. Finally, we painted the other side of the wall as well and added
a little learning corner for my awesome kindergartner.
