GREEN SMOOTHIE
Green Smoothie – I just call it my green goodness. There are afternoons when I just need to snack and this is what I end up making. It has the perfect sweetness and it’s super healthy.
Happy Monday!I am happy to be back here with something healthy today. Spring is here and I am craving for colors. Colors in my closet, in my home and also in my food. I am sharing my color dressed spring home tour tomorrow so be sure to be back!
This green…aww…this color is so pretty, don’t you think?
This smoothie can be done in just a few minutes and it will boost your day! I drink it after workout, in the afternoon or whenever I am hungry in the middle of the day. I use my NutriBullet to make it, but if you don’t have it, you can make it in a regular food processor as well.
On the top of fruits and veggies I add a handful of seed and dried fruit mix. Such an amazing addition to the already fun goodness.
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 banana
- 1 medium apple
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- handful dried seed and dried fruit mix ( we make ours with almonds, cashews, dried apricot, dried cranberry, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds )
- Put everything in a food processor and smooth it well. Garnish with fresh spinach. Enjoy!
This green smoothie has lots of goodness. Sweet enough that my kiddos can drink it as well not knowing that they are drinking spinach.
Just fantastic!

As I kid I didn’t like spinach too, but now I’m enjoying it in a salad or smoothie.
