Chocolate covered pretzel sticks
You may think it’s a bit early to think about Valentine’s Day gifts, but hey, it’s fast approaching and it will be here before you know it. I wanted share a cute gift idea with you all today.
CHOCOLATE COVERED PRETZEL STICKS
Who doesn’t like chocolate, right?
Pretzel sticks covered with chocolate are so heavenly. I love the salty and sweet flavor together.
This little bouquet would be perfect gift for teachers, co-workers, or friends. I can almost guarantee that they will bee blown away.
It’s very easy to make and you only need a few things to make them!
- 12 Pretzel Rods
- 1 12-ounce Chocolate Chips
- Cake Decors { sprinkles etc }
- On separate plates pour the decors of your choice
- Melt chocolate according to package directions
- Dip and swirls top half of pretzel rods in chocolate
- Let the chocolate set for a few minutes
- Roll the chocolate coated rods in the decors
- Stand the decorated rods in a cup or on wax paper lined cookie sheet and chill until set.
TIP:I poured the sprinklers out on my cutting board, I found it easier to roll the sticks on a flat surface.
Aren’t they just simply beautiful?
The decoration sprinklers are really your choice.Go with red, pink, hearts, dots, simple sprinklers….whatever you like. This actually would be a great gift for any holidays. Just change the colors of the decor sprinklers according to the holiday.
We made these pretzel sticks with my kiddos and they almost could not wait for mommy to photograph these cuties.
…look at those little hands …
I found these little buckets at Target and I thought the white and pink just looked perfect match for these chocolate covered pretzel sticks.
So, will you dip away my friends?
What do you like to give for your Valentines? Do you go to buy a box or chocolate or make something at home?
