Happy Black Friday Friends!

Hope Everyone had great family time, lots of food yesterday and today is just for fun and shopping.
Today I am sharing my very first and {I think}super cute Advent Calendar.
I created this fun project last week on a rainy afternoon.
This is our first year having Advent Calendar. My older son is four yrs old, and I thought he would definitely LOVE this family fun Christmas countdown.
I wanted to create something that WE, the FAMILY will look forward to every and each day until Christmas.
I wrote little notes: activities, fun family programs for each day that are Christmas related and we are opening them up day by day to see what each day has in store for us.
Oh, I can not wait to start this countdown.
FUN, FUN, FUN

So if you like this cute Advent Calendar, here is what you will need to create it:
-wood pallets
-sawing machine {to cut the edges -optional}
-sand paper
-white paint
-scrapbook paper
– clothes pins
-washi tape
-twine
TUTORIAL:
1. Pick out some old wood pieces {You don’t need more than 6-7 pieces }
2.Angle the edges of the wood if saw machine is available. { if you don’t have a tool to cut your wood, you can just leave the edges straight}
3.Sand the wood pieces and paint them with the color of your choice.
4.Nail the pieces together after they completely dry.
5.Pick out a few colorful scrapbook paper and washi tapes and cut out triangles of your papers that could be folded.
6.Decorate the clothes pins with washi tape {get yours today for an incredible price HERE} and buttons.
7.Using my cutting tool { Silhouette }, I cut out numbers to add on to each triangle.
If you don’t have a tool available you can just use store bought numbers or only written numbers

  1. I am wondering with cartridge you used to cut your numbers in the circle. I can't seem to find one that will cut 2 numbers in one circle. Thanks!
