ENTRY WAY REVEAL

| | |

Sharing is caring!

As you know, I have been working on our Entry Way for a while now…
Yes,it’s finally done!
…or I should say at least I think it’s done for now…
I can get bored looking at the same design pretty soon…familiar…if you are a decorating junkie as I am, you know what I mean!
That’s why I always keep changing things around the house.
I don’t mean to spend hundreds of dollars on new decor items or furniture, but moving projects from room to room and using the same curtains and furniture in other rooms in the house to create a totally new look.
Originally I wanted to create an Entry way that would hold and hide many everyday clutter, including mails, paper crafts from school, shoes that comes off my kiddos little feet on a daily bases as well as hiding hats, scarfs.
Did I get it all covered? I think I did.

I started with painting the striped wall, and adding the shoe organizer (IKEA) on one side of the wall.

I love that piece of furniture! Its so useful and hides a lots of little shoes for my boys.
Then followed  with the sitting bench that has  2 white basket, that holds plenty of hats, scarfs and mittens.

The sunglasses basket also a very important part of my entry way project.Since I named that little basket for sunglasses, I am not missing any of my always lost sunglasses.

To display weekly schedules for kiddos and other to dos, I made up a very inexpensive cork pin board I  covered a cork board with the same patterned fabric as the sitting bench  cushion cover.I think the matching fabric made the look of my entryway.

Oh and talk about the wall organizer…I love it!

The mess is gone from the kitchen island..phew..that itself is big step for me! There was always clutter on my kitchen island, but not anymore, thanks for my easy and unique wall organizer.
