FALL HOME TOUR 2016
(Bohemian fall wreath tutorial)
Welcome to my fall home tour, friends! I am so excited for another great home tour series hosted by the talented Lindsay from The Buffalo Styling Co. I am always anxiously waiting for these home tours as there is so much to see! Oh! I can’t wait to see everyone’s gorgeous fall decor this season! If you are coming from Sarah from Life on Virginia Street, I know you probably left her home with an Awe!! Her home is absolutely amazing!
This year I did not go all out with my fall decor, I just put on some light fall decor, and I did not even decorate my front porch yet. 🙁 Life has just been so hectic; I’ve been busy with work, I’ve been creating videos behind the scenes for Wayfair ( read more about it HERE) and of course activities with the kiddos are always there.
But despite all these things, I moved some things around and, even though I did not add lots of pumpkins to my decor, this time, I was still able to create a fresh look.
In the living room ( I totally mix up the living room and family room -hehe) I played around with the side tables, and I moved that lovely carved table next to the chair, and I took down the Shibori pillows. For this season I pulled the black checker’s pillows and yellow pillows back. I also added that Faux Mongolian Pillow to my pillow inventory from Gordmans.
I moved my black and white striped blanket onto my ladder, and I added some small black and white pumpkins to my fun antler basket to balance out the black and white tones in the room.
I also hung my DIY floating shelf to this room just for fun.
And for even more textures and layers I moved my poof from my bedroom down here. Why not, right? You can never go wrong with more textures in a room!!
So these were my little decor changes in our living room, and now we are going to step into our dining room.
That easy but unique fall centerpiece is on the blog head on and see how to make one for your table. I got some new chairs….Have you noticed?
And now some shots of our family room…
Yes, that’s right…so much going on here but I really love it. I took off my large canvas from the mantel, and I added some awesome neutral elements, a large skull and of course my watercolor painting to my fall mantel decor. I enjoy painting so much that of course, I create something new for every season.
I could not leave this rattan bar cart behind at Target when it went to 75% on sale.
Got a few new pillows and I used my table runner from last year on the top of my coffee table. I kinda like it there. It’s different.
And just a peek into my bedroom with some fun and easy changes adding some fresh and cool shibori style (post is coming up this weekend) and to my new inspiring workspace (post is coming soon).
Thanks so much for touring my home, I hope you enjoyed it! Now click to see another gorgeous home by my sweet friend, Jen from The Chronicles of Home. You will love her beautiful decor style!
