DIY OrnamentsThis is time again to get the Christmas decoration out of the boxes.
I love and hate this Holiday…Love it because of the spirit of Christmas is on the streets– Lights, decorations, shoppers and so on. Hate it, because part of my family is far away from us and they can not be here to celebrate with us.

Last year as well as this year I made my own ornaments. Since i have 2 little kids– and they are not only look at our pretty ornaments but they will throw them around the house…i decided not to put glass ornaments up on the tree.

This year ornaments

I redecorated the dinig room few months ago.Changed colors and some assessories.(I will post about that room once the holiday is over)Christmas tree is usually in this room. I thought i will match the ornaments with my dining room colors.
All i needed was some empty plastic ornaments from Michaels and pain, that I already had at home.

I poured the paint into the plastic ball, shook it all the way around and it was all set. You can choose your own color and have a beautiful colorful Christmas tree.
These yellow and turquoise ornaments are hanging on my tree and I love them.

In addition to the ornaments I also made a centerpiece that goes on the dining table.I bought couple glass vases from dollar store and i used leftover paint from the ornament project.

Here is the outcome.Very simple and very decorative.
 My beautiful matching color centerpiece.
Merry Christmas!
Love,Aniko
