HOW TO MAKE NO SEW STOCKINGS
Learn how to make a Christmas stocking for the holidays for the entire family easily using only glue and a pair of scissors.
This is a sponsored post by Elmer’s. All opinions are 100 % on my own.
Since the Holidays are approaching very fast, I have jump started my Christmas decoration as soon as I got back from my little vacation last week. Last year I had a silver-gold and fur theme, but this year I was kind of undecided what theme I would go with. I definitely knew I wanted more color because you know that I could be the color queen, right?
So having said that I pulled off all my Christmas decoration from the attic, and I went through what I already had. I did have lots of red and silver, therefore I decided to use those. Afterward, I went to Home Depot with my son, and he picked out some gorgeous blue ornaments. His pick made the theme red-blue and silver/white. Naturally, I like to have stockings that go with the theme each year, so I quickly (and I am not over exaggerating) made these super stylish stockings.
…and they are NO SEW! Yay!
Step by step instructions on how to make a Christmas stocking!
Materials needed:
- fabric ( it can be any of your choices)
- scissors
- ELMER’S CraftBond high-temperature HOT GLUE GUN
Steps:
- Lay your fabric on a flat surface inside out
- Grab an old stocking and stencil it around on your fabric
- Cut out the shape
- Glue together your shape on the edges
- Turn it out
- Cut a little piece of fabric and glue it into the stockings so you can hang it
- Then, as the last step cut a piece of fabric for the top and glue it on
ALL DONE, my friends! That’s how easy it is!
Aren’t they gorgeous? I literally made ALL these three stockings in less than 20 minutes! That’s a winner! In addition, there is no needed to pull out my sewing machine! Thanks to Elmer’s new hot glue gun!
Finally, I hung the stockings on the bottom of the mantle this time, and they look fabulous with the fire on.

So cute and easy! … just curious how much these will hold? Are they just for decoration? Or will they hold gifts without breaking?
Great idea.
