Hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July celebration.
Few days ago we were happy to celebrate my little Patrick’s 2nd birthday.
I think I have to believe that time really flies! Feels like he was just born yesterday..ha!
I wasn’t planing on  making a cake for him for his actual birthday because we will celebrate his birthday with my older son’s birthday next week. I really wanted to surprise him with a little something though.
Since we are in Ice cream business { our main business } of course we always have ice cream at home and speaking about ice cream at home–my kids are crazy about ice cream.
I surprised my little Patrick with this cute ice cream sandwich garnished with sprinkles, whipped cream and cherries…He loved it;))
I came across this “recipe” on Blue Bunny’s website.
ICE CREAM SANDWICH with sprinkles
INGREDIENTS:

Cherries { with steam } for garnish

DIRECTIONS:

1 ,Melt chocolate in microwavable bowl for 10 second intervals until chocolate is just melted.

2, Place sprinkles in separate bowl.

3, Dip sandwich ends one inch in chocolate. Before chocolate sets, lightly coat with sprinkles.
4, Place in freezer. Repeat with the other sandwiches.

5, To serve, lay Blue Bunny Birthday Party Ice Cream Sandwiches on plate.
6,  Garnish sandwiches with leftover chocolate, colored sprinkles,
 whipped cream and cherries.
