CHRISTMAS NIGHTS TOUR

Sharing is caring!

If you are coming from BENEATH MY HEART, welcome! I am glad you found your way here. Today I will show you my home lit up for the Holidays. I participated in this hop hosted by my talented friend over at Maison de Pax last year, and it was so fun. I enjoyed touring everyone’s magical home, and I cold not wait for this time of the year again.

I am not sure how you feel about magical, twinkling lights, but I could watch them all year around. I grew up in Hungary, and our tradition back there is to decorate the tree on the day of Christmas Eve and keep it up until January 7th. Which makes the Holidays season a bit shorter than here in the US. Living in the States for many years we adopted the tradition to dress up the tree early on in December and to tell you the truth I  LOVE it much more than how we did it when I was a little girl. I could not imagine the Holiday season any other way anymore. Today I take you on a short tour of my home lit up with beautiful Christmas lights at night.

I love to burn candles, and I typically have a few lanterns and candle holders set in my entry way in every season but I put out more in the Holiday season.

In our small living room I set a mini, tabletop tree. This year is the second year having more than one tree, and I have to admit I like it. I like it a lot. I always thought people are crazy to have more than one tree, but now I think I adopted this tradition as well:-).

Our living room opens up to our dining room which we updated just recently with a coat of fresh paint. I added lots of greeneries onto the top of my dining table, and I set a line of larger bulbs in the middle of the table for the season.

This room is our family room where we have our large tree up. I decided to have a neutral Christmas tree this year and I could not be happier with the decor.

I hope you enjoyed this short tour of my Christmas-y home. If you like my style be sure to come back and see more of my ideas. You can see my full CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR HERE in daylight. This post is my last post of the year as I am going to take a little blog break for the rest of the month so I can enjoy every minute if this beautiful season with the fam.

Wishing all of you the very merriest of Christmases!

  1. What beautiful spaces you have! Question for you: how do you keep your trees in baskets/tree skirt alternatives? I have found it challenging to get my stands to fit inside the baskets and don’t know what else to do! Thank you!

    1. I went until I found a large enough basket that was fitting my stand. There is no way to stand the tree in the basket without stand, so try and find a large enough basket. Good luck!

  2. It looks amazing Aniko. I love your boho natural rustic take on Christmas decor this year; and of course your photography is always beyond magazine quality. I hope you enjoyed a lovely and relaxing holiday with your sweet little family!!

  4. Aniko,

Thank you so much for sharing on our Christmas Nights tour! Your space is so unique and I love all of the modern, but timeless details. I especially love the hoop wreaths with fresh greenery! And, I also agree, one can never have too many trees. 😉
