DIY JEWELRY HOLDER
I am a huge jewelry lover and I tend to collect way too may of them. Sounds familiar?? Well, you can make  your own fun DIY jewelry holder following this tutorial.
I created a pretty EARRING ORGANIZER couple months ago and I still have some leftover of that gorgeous watercolor fabric. So pretty! I was itching to use more of this pretty fabric n my still evolving bedroom.
Remember this pretty fabric earring organizer that I shared a few months ago? Well, she needed a little sister:-)
I spied this super fun and modern block jewelry holder by Emily Henderson on Pinterest and I really liked it!
…and I thought I will make this easy project to pretty up bedroom wall. I got a completely different look out if though:-)
MATERIALS NEEDED:
– 2 x 4 wood panel
– fabric
– metallic gold spray paint
 – wood rods –  $0.87 /pc
– 6 nails
– sawtooth hanger
As a first step, I spray painted a piece of round wood rods with my gold metallic paint and I let the dry completely.
Note: This metallic Rust-oluem paint is SUPER dries super fast!
I found a piece of 2×4 wood panel in the garage that I thought would be the perfect piece for me instead of doing smaller blocks.
I covered the wood panel with my pretty fabric and and stapled the fabric  to the back of the wood.
So far it was super easy, right?
Next, I attached the painted wood sticks to my fabric covered wood panel. I used small nails to secure the rods.
Tip: I only used one nail for each rod but I would suggest using at least 3 nails per rod as my one nail got loose after moving my heavy necklaces on it. 3 nails would be fine to keep it from lifting because of the balance.
Screwed  a small sawtooth hanger on the back of my piece and it was all done!
This new piece hold lots of necklaces, bracelets and rings and it is on my bedroom wall as part of my gallery wall. (which hasn’t been revealed yet)
So what do you think?
I am so loving its unique, contemporary look.

Now you got plenty inspiration to make your own little jewelry holders.
Happy Organizing for the new year!
Where is the fabric from???
This is the most practical yet beautiful and modern necklace. bracelet and ring holder I have ever seen! I love the painted design and colors and also how neatly the different styles of jewelry are organized on it. Not to mention it hangs on a wall instead of on a table which saves space and is easier to view and choose a selection. A+ work and I am sharing this with friends.
Glad you love it! 🙂
This is such a great idea. Thank you for posting it. I am going to use mine for earrings also. If I don’t forget, I will send you a picture or two.
Thanks again,
Michele M.
