DIY PEGBOARD ORGANIZER:ONE ROOM CHALLENGE, WEEK 5
Little late with the post today but sometimes life gets in the way and posts get delayed-ha. I can not believe that we are on week 5 with the One Room Challenge. If you are new here , please check out the last 4 weeks posts HERE.
Today I am sharing this really fun and easy project for my office/craft room makeover. I love a good organizing project and this one actually turned out super stylish as well. I am using gold, white, yellow and black accents in the room so I thought I would give a little gold spray paint to glam this white pegboard up.
I taped a FUN pattern out using painters tape and I spray painted the board with my favorite  Rust-oleum metallic gold paint.
It was really a nice 10 minutes project.
We cut baseboard for the frame and nailed it to the pegboard.
I honestly did not have the time to hang it to the wall but it will be up there next week ( I may change that color on the wall by then:-)
This organizer will hold my craft stuff, scissors, and small items that are now thrown into a big box.
I am also sharing this bonus  mini project with you all today.
I found this bookcase in Goodwill ($15)and yes, it is looks nice and clean being simply white but I wanted more then that.
BEFORE-AFTER
Don’t you think it turned out to be fabulous?
My original plan was to stencil this bookcase and I actually did stenciled it but I wasn’t crazy with the finished look.
Or maybe I can say it out loud that I FAILED the stencil project:-(
Then I went to Target to get this adhesive paper and put it up on the back of the bookcase.
PRETTY♥
Well, this is it for today my Firends!
I will have a lot to finish until next week so I can show you my pretty and stylish office/craft room makeover in full 🙂
