  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 halves chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 1 cup bean sprouts (about 4 oz.)
  • 2 carrots, shredded (about 1 cup)
  • Boston or butter lettuce leaves
  • Your favorite dipping sauce
  • (I use peanut saauce)
  1. Add sauces in a shallow bowl and marinade chicken.
  2. Warm oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add garlic; sauté 1 minute longer. Add chicken to skillet and cook through or until its golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes. Slice chicken and set aside.
  4. Wash and prepare lettuce leaves and add shredded carrots, bean sprouts to lettuce, then add chicken and spoon over your favorite sauce ( I love peanut sauce - store bought) if desired.
