FASHION FRIDAY – CLOGS AND MAXI DRESSES

Friends! I decided to start something new on the blog,  which is not really new to me personally. I got a taste for all things pretty when I was a young model. It was a really fun experience and though my career and life took a different direction- I have harbored a love for fashion ever since. So today I am sharing a little seasonal fashion segment I hope you enjoy. I will share some of my favorite fashion finds with you, truly hoping that my fashion style will inspire you as much my home decor style inspires you.

 

I LOVE fashion. A lot! It comes naturally to me to dress stylish and mix and match fun pieces together. I feel like my fashion style is a mirror of my home decor style or maybe vice versa.  I love edgy, colorful, unique pieces and I like to budget shop which I guess, came clear to you if you have been following my home decor blog for a while. So today – as my very first “fashion” post- I want to share a few of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe right now. Spring is still not here ( RVA), but I genuinely believe that spring is right around the corner and it will be here any day now! The cold stayed a little too long this year, don’t you think? The groundhog was right!!

Okay! My to go outfit this season are Maxi Dresses paired with Clogs. Comfy and cute!

 

CLOGS!

I’ve been eyeing Clogs for a long time, and just recently I finally put my hands on one! Seriously! Clogs are the most comfortable shoes! Who knew? I wish someone told me that before!

 

I am a huge fan of anything leather ( have you seen my leather couch in my living room??), especially brown leather, so the very first Clogs I picked out was this beautiful, brown, closed toe style clogs. And I am about to get a few more colors ( don’t tell the hubby:-)))) to my shoe inventory as I feel like these clogs will be my staple pieces this season!

 

 

AND MAXI DRESSES!

I love them for two reasons:

1. They are comfortable to wear. I am a busy woman, and nothing is easier than pulling on a maxi dress on a busy morning.
2. Maxi dresses cover things…like – unshaved legs:-)) ( kidding!), and body parts that you might be self-conscious about.

I found some awesome dresses for a very reasonable price.

They are super cute and stylish!

This particular one in the picture below is not only my favorite but everyone’s favorite. Kid you not! People literally stop me on the street and ask about that dress. I think the pattern and the colors are bold and fun and it just simply catches people eyes!

Okay. This striped dress was love at first sight! It’s cotton and super long! I am 5.7′ and this dress is LONG if I am not wearing heals. But it was perfect with my clogs! And yes, I rode my bike over to my friends’ house ( in the neighborhood) having that dress on. 🙂
