MASTER BATHROOM UPDATE with DELTA FAUCET
Master bathroom update: this is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Delta Faucet. The opinions and text are all mine.
Today I am sharing my master bathroom update with you guys!!
A few months ago I was invited to a fun blogger event in Chicago with Delta Faucet. If you missed my post on the recap of my Chicago tour, you can get caught up on the details HERE.
While I was in Chicago, I designed my dream bathroom mood board (as part of our day) based on the inspiring architecture during our tour of Chicago. Here’s the mood board I designed.
As you see, just like everywhere else in my home, I wanted to incorporate layers, woodsy tones, textures and a little bit of my bohemian style. 🙂
We remodeled our guest BATHROOM recently, so this time around we updated our master bathroom. I had a $1,000 budget to spend, so we did not do major renovations, but we added small updates that delivered significant impact! Two years ago we did a few upgrades in this bathroom by adding new vanities, tiling the floor and changing faucets. We could not upgrade our shower and bathtub, but I have to admit, I could not be happier with the changes we made.
MASTER BATHROOM UPDATE
When I designed my mood board, I pictured my dream bathroom with warm tones, wooden elements, greeneries, mixed metals and modern lines. I was eager to upgrade our faucet with Delta Faucet’s new design; the Zura™ Single Handle Centerset Lavatory Faucet with Touch2O.xt® Technology.
I loved its super chic and modern design with the chrome and black finish and amazing, hands-free technology. No more toothpaste to clean off the faucets for sure. With a battery operated system, that uses 6AA batteries, this faucet has up to 2-year battery life.
It also offers a TempSense™ LED light that indicates mode and water temperature as well. So cool!
Switching from our old one to this was a piece of cake. We installed our new, modern fixture and then went online to find fabulous bathroom accessories to match the style in my space. The items I found complemented my new black faucet amazingly.
BLUE OMBRE SHOWER CURTAIN |VEGA BATH THREE BULB BRASS WALL SCONE | ACACIA WOOD 24″ WALL MIRROR | SET OF THREE DOT COAT HOOKS | INDIGO WOOD BOWL | RUBBER COATED SOAP PUMP | RECTANGULAR STACKING BOX | SQUARE STACKING BOX | VINTAGE RUG | HEX KNOB
What do you think?!
Here’s a before shot to really show you that little updates can make such big impact in a room. You don’t always have to think big. I created a very different feel and style (that is much more ME), compared to the previous room design. I changed mirrors, light fixtures, added some fun organizing baskets and wooden boxes, switched out the drawer knobs, installed a bamboo shade, changed the shower curtain and of course I had to do some easy DIY-s as well. 🙂
Check out the BEFORE shot below!
Ta-da! And here is the after shot!!
I created a brand new look for my vanity just by switching off the simple round black drawer knobs to these chic hex knobs. Adding my gorgeous and colorful vintage rugs from SF Rugs was also a fantastic choice to this bath redo.
To jazz up that giant wall in between our shower and bathtub we glued peel and stick vinyl flooring on that entire wall. This is the before shot 🙂
And here is the after!
You love it, don’t you?
It was a super easy change, and I think this easy DIY addition completes the look I was going for! We added the flooring panel by panel using spray adhesive to secure it to the wall, and we added the vinyl flooring behind the toilet as it was empty as well.
One more last thing I just had to make. Some macramé planter holders. 🙂 I spotted these while I was at a restaurant on my trip to Chicago (I even added these planters to my mood board); I was so much in love with them that I had to recreate them!
Got some macramé ropes and set down to make these beauties one afternoon.
I painted a simply beautiful watercolor art and took a picture of some green leaves (from the yard) to frame them.
Well, guys! I am so in love with this mini makeover! I adore every little detail!
I hope you got some inspiration to make over your bathroom 🙂 Be sure to check out Delta Faucet’s great selection of bathroom and kitchen fixtures.
Cheers,
Aniko
Thanks for the fun project ideas. We’ve been meaning to update our bathroom for a long time, and I love the macrame cord ideas for some plants. I’ll be putting some of those together while a service comes in to do a cabinet painting. Can’t wait to see how it turns out.
Hello,
Would you be able to tell me where you got the table that is n between the vanities?
It was from IKEA!
could you let us know the exact peel n stick flooring you used? Thank you!
Where did you get the vanities?
Beautifully done! I’m feeling inspired for my own bathroom remodel. 😀 May I ask what paint color you used for the walls? I like how the not-white neutral is subtle but pops against the white baseboards and ceiling.
I love the transformation! Where is that gorgeous white and gold rope basket from??
Stunning! Absolutely perfect!! You are truly talented Aniko!
Wowza! Anika you super impress me!! ❤️ You are my soul sister! The floor panel on the walls are ingenious! May I ask where you purchased the glass planters? They bring nature indoors! I’m a big fan of plants in and out of the house. Hoping to start a blog very soon and I saw your pointers. Thank you! What a big help it will be. Also thank you for all you do! You are an inspiration!!
Carrie! Those glass planters were bought at Micheals.:-) Good luck on your blogging journey! Let me know if you have any questions, I am here to help
Best to you!
I absolutely love this transformation! I love the mix of wood elements and natural elements, the floor paneling on the wall, is brilliant! You’ve inspired me to tackle my own bathroom!

I know. I busted my bottom at the end of last year and now I am taking it super slow. Like S.L.O.W!!!!
Beautiful as always, Aniko! I love how a few thoughtful changes can totally transform your space!
Thank you, friend! Hugs!
It’s beautiful Aniko! I love the contrast of the wood mirrors against the white walls!
