Now , since today is Monday,it’s time for a great recipe again.
Being in the middle of fall season what could you use other than pears, apples,pumpkins to cook and bake.
I chose pear for this great muffin recipe.
Made with granola and whole wheat flour but you can absolutely use regular flour if you prefer.
PEAR AND GRANOLA MUFFIN

Ingredients
- ¾ cup pear nectar { or other fruit nectar}
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ⅔ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup granola
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- ½ tsp. ground nutmeg
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1¼ cups pear, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven for 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl, stir together first five ingredients.
- Stir sugar and flour in medium bowl.
- Mix in granola, baking powder, nutmeg and salt.
- Add chopped pear.
- Stir flour and egg mixture together until blended. { batter will be thick}
- Bake until golden brown { about 20 minutes }
- Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
