PEAR AND GRANOLA MUFFINS

Pear and Granola Muffin by Place Of My Taste
Hey Friends!
Let’s start this week with a great
GIVEAWAY!
I grouped together with some other blogger friends to bring you this awesome giveaway which opened last night.

Now , since today is Monday,it’s time for a great recipe again.
Being in the middle of fall season what could you use other than pears, apples,pumpkins to cook and bake.
I chose pear for this great muffin recipe.
Made with granola and whole wheat flour but you can absolutely use regular flour if you prefer.

PEAR AND GRANOLA MUFFIN

Ingredients
  • ¾ cup pear nectar { or other fruit nectar}
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ⅔ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granola
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • ½ tsp. ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1¼ cups pear, chopped
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven for 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together first five ingredients.
  3. Stir sugar and flour in medium bowl.
  4. Mix in granola, baking powder, nutmeg and salt.
  5. Add chopped pear.
  6. Stir flour and egg mixture together until blended. { batter will be thick}
  7. Bake until golden brown { about 20 minutes }
  8. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
