THE PLANS {ONE ROOM CHALLENGE-WEEK 2}
Welcome back 2 of the ONE ROOM CHALLENGE! I am so excited to participate as a featured designer and a huge thank you for Linda from Calling it Home to including me in this amazing group of designers! I am sure the rooms will be fabulous, and I can’t wait to see this weeks post from everyone. This week marks to share our room PLANS! But before we get into the details, I want to make sure you know where we started and if you did miss last week’s post, here is THE BEFORE! If you are new here, be sure to hop over and check out the before of our guest bathroom, that’s the room that I chose to makeover this time around. Well! It’s a big project!! We are going to be busy in the next couple of weeks, for sure!
Well, well! It’s a big project!! I like dramatic before and afters and it and this will be it, guys!! We are going to be busy in the next couple of weeks, for sure!
We worked hard last weekend ( if you are following my insta stories you can see snippets of the makeover:-) and removed everything from the bathroom. EVERYTHING!!
Luckily my hub is a pretty handy guy and can do most of the work! Okay, okay! I am doing the hard work too:-))
So the bathtub….we had no idea that we need to cut out the entire thing!! Wow! I am sure we will face much more surprises along the way!
And here are the PLANS for this room!
VANITY | FLOOR TILE| BATHTUB| BARNDOOR RACK
BATHTUB DOOR| TOILET| MIRROR
| LIGHTING FIXTURE| FAUCET| SHOWER HEAD| VINTAGE RUG
Phew! Everything is planned, ordered, and now it’s time to start putting up the tiles. I am loving the modern lines but I also love to add a little bit of flair, so I chose to mix in those amazing black and white tiles that go on the floor, the simple but cool looking subway tile that goes on the wall, and I chose a beautiful vintage rug to bring the look together. I can’t wait to see this room finished! So excited!
I chose my products carefully, and I am excited to be working with so many amazing sponsors for this ONE ROOM CHALLENGE makeover!
If you are new here be sure to check last week’s post!

I love love love your plans. Cannot wait to see how it turns out – I’m sure you’ll kill it as always!
You work fast! Love the plan and this is going to be stunning. Can’t wait.
You’re ambitious to take on a bath in 6 weeks, but I know it will be amazing and so worth it when all is said and done! Can’t wait to see!
Hi, Aniko, your plan looks great, but I have a question about your light fixtures. Because the look like their bodies are solid metal or plastic and they will be casting only downward light, do you think this will give enough light for a place where good lighting is so important: the mirror where makeup is applied, etc. Are you planning a secondary light source? just curious. Can’t wait to see the reveal.
Yes, indeed, you are correct and we’re going to have recess light added to the ceiling✌????️ thank you for checking in;)
Progress is looking good so far!
Can’t wait to see the result 🙂
Wow, this is a big job, but looks like you have it under control! Love your moodboard & super excited for next weeks update.
That’s going to be amazing!
Yup! That’s what I hope for- an amazing bathroom at the end;)
Oh this is going to be one stunning bathroom!
I sure hope so;) thanks for checking in!
