Hey Friends! Today I will show you a quick tutorial of how to whip up an easy fabric SPRING DIY WREATH.
Spring is not quite here yet, or at least where I live it isn’t. It is unbelievable cold here and it makes me miserable sometimes. I am trying to add as much color to my home decor as possible. Couple months ago
Couple months ago FloraCraft® asked me if I would like to be part of their team and, of course, I said yes, so for the next 6 months I will be sharing fun projects using FloraCraft® products.
If you missed my previous post, you can check out how I made a fun CARVED PICTURE FRAME and a huge HELLO sign last month.
I love a nice wreath.
It always makes me happy to see a fun, colorful DIY wreath on my front door.
This wreath was born in NO MORE than 15 minutes. I pretty much had everything on hand to fix this lovely wreath up.
Materials needed:
FloraCraft® Make It: Fun® Foam wreath 16”
Fabric of your choice
Flowers
Hot glue gun
Scissors
Steps:
I laid the fabric on a flat surface and laid the wreath on the top of it.
I cut out a round shape, about 4 inches bigger on each side than my wreath as I wanted to make sure I can fold the fabric all the way to the back.
Then I folded my fabric in half and cut a small circle in the middle.
I cut little sections and nicely folded the fabric onto the wreath and glued it on the wreath.
As the last step, I embellished the wreath with pretty colorful flowers.
Loving the springy feel. The green and bright flowers look beautiful together.
This is how it looks on my door. Even though the colors are similar, I think green on green looks just fabulous.
Here is last year’s wreath
Hope you got some inspiration today:-)
I adore this, Aniko! Love the fabrics, and the bright flowers, too. Hello, spring! Thank you!
