STRAWBERRY-CANTALOUPE SLUSHIES

Strawberry-Cantaloupe Slushie- Place Of My Taste -

Hey Friends! Did you all have a wonderful weekend? The weather has been AMAZING around here. I can not recall the last time we had a gorgeous summer in August like this. Hmmm…Love it but at the same time I hate to see it go away so quick.

Today I am celebrating summer with  this delicious Strawberry – Cantaloupe slushie. It is not only gorgeous but very refreshing and yet super delicious. Cantaloupes are so inexpensive these days and we always have at least one in the refrigerator. I love to cut cantaloupes in cubes, chill it and take it to the pool as a snack and I also love it as a drink. It really only takes a few minutes to create this pretty drink and I bet you will be making it for the rest of the summer. Yesterday, after lunch we were craving some dessert with the boys. I did not have time to bake anything so I looked into our refrigerator and I though the quickest dessert probably would be a nice, cold, refreshing slushie. I had some  strawberries and a whole cantaloupe handy and created this gorgeous drink for after lunch. We invested in a NUTRI BULLET blender last year and we literally us it every day. NUTRI BULLET  is the best thing ever. ( this is not a sponsored post 🙂

We make so many different drink and slusie mix with it. Veggies with fruits and seeds and really whatever you can think of could go into this awesome blender.

We always have lots of fruits as my boys rather eat fruits than vegetables. Well, I am sure I am not alone with this statement.

I think my next creation will be watermelon and cantaloupe slushie… that should make a nice combo as well.

This sounds really refreshing. I just bought some strawberries and cantaloupe, too. I am putting this on my list of things to make tomorrow. Look forward to checking out the other recipes too – like the Pom Berry Lime Splash.
