DIY FALL CENTERPIECE
Today I am sharing my pretty new and stylish fall centerpiece. I love everything white lately and a little gold infusion got into the picture as well. This year I will have a slightly different feel in our dining room. I am trying to decorate it with some white and gold accents but still keep the fallish feel to it.

The other day I was wandering around in Target and spotted these gold and white pumpkins and apples for $7.99/each.
Oh, so pretty, aren’t they?
I really – really loved them, but you know me…I don’t like to pay full price for anything especially if it can be DIY-ed 🙂 I picked up a bag of fall decor (pumpkins etc.) at Home Depot for $5 and a bottle of gold spray paint. I am a big wine enthusiastic and I always have empty bottles in the garage so I recycled some to use for this fall decor project.
You may remember that I painted wine bottles before for mother’s day and I found them very decorative and pretty so I knew it will sure be a part of some other projects of mine in the future.
So back to today’s project…
THINGS YOU WILL NEED:
– 2 empty wine bottles
– a bag of decor pumpkins
– white and gold spray paint
– washi tape or painters tape
– sponge brush
These pumpkins can be purchased individually at dollar store.
I started with spray painting the pumpkins and bottles. I painted the bottles with white paint first, then I left them sit until they were completely dry.
I used washi tape to tape the stripes as my painters tape that I had at home was a little too wide for my project. I just simply eyeballed the lines and it worked perfectly.
I went on my gold paint and took the washi tape off carefully right away. For my second bottle I just stamped golden circles with my sponge brush. {I used the same gold paint by spraying some on a piece of paper and applying that with my sponge brush.}
This is it my Friends. Easy and no need much to make this pretty centerpiece.
I really love how everything turned out. The whole set up looks just perfect on my long dining room table. I only need to DIY a runner now, ha.
For now I just used a piece of white wooden plate to display these painted cutenesses.
Those gold pumpkins are very pretty and they look just like the ones in Target:-)
So what do you say? Yay or nay?
