I am super excited to share this year’s Christmas home decor.
If you are coming from Two Twenty One, welcome, I love how Chelsea decorated for the holidays. So pretty!
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here too…Okay. My house is not decked out just yet, but soon, my friends. We just got back from a spontaneous vacation to Sunshine state Monday evening. Between getting caught up on ALL the things and laundry ( can someone send me the laundry fairy???), I was only able to pull together our family room decor but not much else. Last year I used the color RED which was super fun and little bits traditional, but I wanted something “new” this year. Isn’t that the thing every year, haha? Or at least that’s what I do every year.:-)
For the past two years, I used a large basket for under the tree. I loved it so much, but I switched it up a bit that one as well this year.
I didn’t buy a “Christmas tree skirt,” but I used my cowhide rug -it was sitting in my garage – and I arranged it under the tree, and it worked just fine. Someone walked in today, and she asked if it was leather…:-)
For colors, I wanted mustard, DARK burgundy, and dark green.
I was set on these colors, and I went from store to store until I found the ones I wanted. I was looking for a specific BURGUNDY and EMERALD GREEN.
I was lucky to find an ornament set with EMERALD AND MUSTARD (plus a few other colors I didn’t use) -at Target ( THEY HAVE THIS SET THIS YEAR TOO!!!! UPDATED 2020!).
I removed my colorful rug and pulled in the solid color large rug I already had to compliment the busy tree.
I made a beautiful flower arrangement displaying the same colors.
I love my mantel this year. I created an asymmetrical look, and I love how it turned out. You can see more in this post HERE.
I could not help but make Boomer sit for a shot. My little ( or OH SO BIG- he is only five months old lol!) pampas grass – because some people think he looks like pampas grass.:-)))
And speaking of pampas grass- I pinned a few pampas grass onto my tree as well as into my floral arrangement, and I LOVE it.
Okay, friends. Now you probably had enough of my colorful BOHO feel Christmas decor. Head over to Life is a Party and see some more inspiration. And don’t forget to visit all the other fabulous blogger friends below.
