  1. Honestly? I’m not a huge fan of Valentine’s day. I show my hubby that I love him every day, and especially since he fought (and has beaten) stage 4A throat cancer last summer. He still can’t swallow, so no dinners will be planned. We will probably spend a quiet evening at home, as neither of is likes battling the crowds.

  2. Our family uses Valentines Day to tell others outside of each other how much we care about them. We home crafted to friends and relatives we don’t see that much to let them know they are loved.

  3. i love Valentines. I love the hearts and flowers and signs of affection all around. I love the anticipation of a surprise from a loved one lurking around the corner. I love that his particular holiday must make God smile down on us and I love any reason to celebrate life.

  4. I love that Valentine’s day is actually about TRUE LOVE between all persons. Our family uses it to share love with others…outwardly rather than “what’s in it for me” It’s a great day to realize It’s all about love!

  5. My favorite part of Valentines day is spending it with my children and eating the chocolate that they get during their school parties 🙂

  6. Valentine’s Day is probably my favorite holiday. My birthday is the day after so it has always been an added bonus. I love all the “old school” handmade valentines with paper doilies and construction paper… conversation hearts… lots of red glitter on everything… and love notes from your special Valentine and those secret admirers!
