You guys!

It’s not very usual here to see two posts on a same day, ha..? I know! But I am itching to show you our new patio makeover tomorrow!  But before I do that, you guys have to see  my  colorful sew pillow covers.

Couple weeks ago I ordered some seriously gorgeous fabric from OnlineFabricStore. They have so many choices , colors and patterns. It was really hard for me to choose the ones I really wanted to see on our deck this summer.

We have planned our patio makeover for a couple of weeks now it was just never the right time, until last weekend. It’s really crazy around here and project follows project, but we love it. I am so thankful to have my super handy hubby to keep up with my crazy ideas and fully support me with them! He is seriously the best!♥

So back to the pillows.

I ordered several colors.

Bright colors.

If you follow me, you know how much I love

colors!

We made a nice sitting area where I needed lots of pillows….Shhhh…I am not going to tell you how we made the furniture just yet…

(if you are following me on INSTAGRAM you may have seen a sneak peak of it :-))

I have a sewing machine! I got it couple years ago. My dear mom thought me how to sew basic things with the machine. Yeah, I can not sew a pants for me but I can surely sew a nice envelope pillow cover or fix a curtain length if I need to.

I was lucky enough to have my mamma around for a couple of weeks so I am not going to lie, she helped me with making the covers.

Covers were  done in a few hours.

I chose outdoor fabric for my pillows as they will be outside for the most time. Online fabric store had a great variety of outdoor fabric.

These durable fabrics are water repellent, as well as mold, mildew, soil and stain resistant, and can be used for lounge and chair cushions, throw pillows and deck umbrellas. These fabrics are also a stylish and durable home décor option.

Cushions can be expensive if store-bought and also I am not always finding the colors and patterns I like. I think the best way to customize our own space is to choose custom fabric.
