PAINTED IKEA NIGHTSTAND
Hello Friends! How is your week going so far. I know, it’s only Tuesday…Today I wanted to share a super easy furniture makeover with you. I love uplifting and creating new look with spray paint. One of my favorite tool. If you were with me last year, you probably remember when I spray painted my very ordinary looking planter and made it bright and colorful.
We are in the middle of our Master bedroom makeover and as we changed the look of our MALM bed we needed to update our nightstands as well. I spotted this cute, inexpensive folding table at IKEA and I knew that giving a coat of paint will make the look that I was aiming for.
All I needed a warmer, sunny weather and a bright yellow spray paint.
The weather is still crazy cold here in VA but I was l lucky to have ONE, yes ONE sunny weekend to paint these folding tables. I am still waiting to have a nice, warm weekend again to finish up my mid century dresser that I posted on Instagram when we picked it up. Oh, I can not wait to put my hands on that piece. We painted these tables with 2 coats of paint and let it dry perfectly out on the sun.
These folding tables were very inexpensive, $15/each at IKEA. For some reason I really loved their shape and their top.
Don’t you love it when you can create something extraordinary? I absolutely do!
I am totally in love with this nightstand and the color we picked is nicely flowing with our color scheme in the bedroom.
Here is my mood board that I created for our Master bedroom makeover
And now, here is the before and after, just to show you what a difference a spray paint can make.
If you have not seen our MALM headboard makeover, head on to read on it. You can make yours beautiful with my tutorial. Definitely stay tuned…next week I will show you how to make these gorgeous herringbone stenciled lamp, that you see on the picture below.

Isn’t it from JYSK? I think it’s not IKEA. Just look for on the JYSK website.
Agnes, we don’t have JYSK in the US. It was purchased at IKEA few years ago:-) Happy Holidays!
I found this table at IKEA http://www.ikea.com/PIAimages/0131147_PE285706_S2.JPG It is a little different and it $24.99. More expensive than the one that you showed, but not too too expensive!
Andrea, it looks just like the one I have but seems a little darker.:-)
