SIMPLE FALL HOME TOUR

Sharing is caring!

We had a crazy rainy day with a bunch of scary tornadoes here today. Wow! It helped me to feel fall a tiny bit more. Although the temperature still hot and humid haha. But I know it can change in any day now. Or at least I hope so since I dug my boots and sweaters out already.

Have you seen my Fall Mantel decor that I shared last week? We are continuing to bring you the FALL DECOR goodness for all your fall inspiration needs. If you are here to get some fabulous ideas on how to decorate your home for this season, you are in the right place my friend as I have joined forces with 35 other fabulous bloggers to bring you the most fantastic fall decor!

If you are coming from Christina over at The DIY Mommy, welcome! If you haven’t check Christina’s decor yet, you should hop over and see what she is showcasing! It’s amazing!

Simply fall decor

I realized over the last few years, that I have no need for pumpkins. Nor I have a need for more crap. Or at least not inside of my house.:-) For me, fall is rather more about the deep dark contrasting colors, mixed with my forever green plants, and I can achieve that look by adding some inexpensive ( or old) pillow covers, throws, and plant holders to my decor.

Add seasonal THROW PILLOWS  FOR FALL

The simplest way to dress up your living room for fall is to add some cool throw pillows. These brown, black & white and ModCloth covers are from last year, but since they were put away, I felt like they were new when I pulled them out from my “Monica closet.” I just love them.

I love how they stand out and they put me in the fall mood!

I also added a macrame cover onto one of my pillows and I just adored it for extra texture in the room. I will have to share a tutorial on that macrame pillow soon! Until then you can check out my other MACRAME posts HERE and HERE.

BOHO planter

I spotted 2 of these amazingly stylish planters at my local Ross, and I just could not leave the store without them.

I added those three tiny pumpkins as a coffee table decor but that’s about it with pumkins for me this year.:-)

And here is a view of my family room. I share the FALL MANTEL DECOR last week, which is another simple take on fall decor.

Today I’m excited to be joining a group of over 35 talented bloggers who are also touring through part of their home ready for fall. Hop around to take in all this stunning inspiration…

  1. Hello! I saw your post at The House of Wood blog. I so wanted to view your Fall Home Tour, but several advertisements opened up, one at the top, one at the bottom and an invitation to subscribe to your blog in the center. So sorry I couldn’t view.
