Teacher Appreciation gift ( clipboard with matching pen)
This week is Teacher appreciation week. I am last-minute but I managed to make these easy and super fun looking clipboards with matching pens . To be extra special I Â attached a note (designed by me ) for my sons teachers to THANK them for their hard work. Teachers always need to write reports so I really think this is gonna be a useful gift for them.
The original idea came from  HERE.
Are you ready to make your today?
You only need a few things:
– dollar store-bought clipboards
– pens
– colorful scrapbook papers
-washi tape
– mod- podge
I painted the clipboards silver top with spray paint which I had handy from my previous project : painting my front porch planter.
Covered the clipboard with colorful scrapbook paper and cut out some flower shapes to decorate.
I also came across a great idea the other day while I was looking around on Pinterest.
Using some inexpensive pens, I made matching pens with the clipboards.
How fun!!
Take the pen apart….Yep…just do it!
Cut a small paper stripe from the same color paper and roll it inside of the pen. Put the parts back together…and you are all set!
…and VOILA!
To completely finish this project, I chose a quote that I really loved and created a nice print out for each clipboard.

I hope I inspired you to make this great gift for teachers you know!
Oh…and did I tell you that this sweet boy was part of the project of course…:-)
Thank for all the Teachers out there!
Have an amazing day!
Xoxo~
what is the mod podge for?
Katie, I used the mod podge to apply the scrapbook paper to the clipboard.I guess any kind of glue would do good if you don’t have mod podge handy!Have a great week!
So, you didn’t also Mod Podge the top, once the paper was glued on? Just to seal it?
Thanks!

I did not…but it wouldn’t hurt I guess
I have been trying to print the free printable and can’t. Any suggestions?!
Jennifer, I am sorry to hear that you have difficulties. It probably won’t let you print right from the drive but please download it first on your computer and print from there. You can download by click on the FILE and then DOWNLOAD. Please let me know if you still unable to use the printable. Thanks!
Thank you! I saw it downloading, but couldn’t figure out where it was going. I found it! This is the cutest printable and I love the saying. My son has the best teacher this year and I am trying to shower her with so many gifts this coming week for Teacher Appreciation Week. She deserves so much. Thank you for sharing this, I am sure it will be treasured!
Oh and I'm thinking about mod podging the printable to the back side of the clipboard!
This is perfect! I didn't get anything together for my daughters teachers in time to give it to them before the holiday break. This is something we can make over break and give to them for the new year 😉 I have tons of paper and need to get to dollar tree for stocking stuffers anyway! Pinning this for sure!
Thank you Shelley! I love pretty papers!
I love this idea!! So pretty!
