DIY HEART BUD VASE
Hey-hey! Spring is here and pretty spring flowers are everywhere. Oh and mother’s day is right around the corner, too! I am sharing a quick and easy project that anyone can tackle in a heartbeat. I spied this heart bud vase on West Elm’s site and It totally inspired me to create my own.
The vase I created is very affordable and with fresh flowers would be a perfect gift for mother’s day, don’t you think? Wish my momma was closer to me. Sigh…
You only need a few things to create this gorgeous vase:
-simple glass vase from dollar store
-spray paint ( I used white Rustoleum)
– gold sharpie
-fresh spring flowers
Here is my $1 vase that I started with
First I spray pained my vase with white spray paint.
Then I drew small little heart shapes on to the vase with my oil based sharpie.
I bought some pretty and inexpensive fresh flowers at Trader Joe’s and nicely arranged the in my new vase.
Sometimes you don’t have to think big to create beautiful. Few items from dollar store would do it.
Hope you liked this quick and easy tutorial. This cute little arrangement also would make perfect spring centerpiece
