Oh My…This Banana Cake is AAAmazaing…You should give it a try.I did… and I tell ya… this cake did not last long.
Easy to put together in 10 minutes and super delicious even the next day with a cup of coffee.
Banana Nut Pound Cake
3 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups granulated sugar
2 medium bananas, mashed
1/4 cup milk
1 tbsp vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
1.Preheat oven for 325 F. Grease and flour a 10 inch tube fluted pan, set aside.
Combine flour, baking powder and 1/2 tsp salt. Set aside.
2.In large bowl beat cream cheese, butter with and electric mixer until combined. Gradually add sugar, beating about 7 minutes until light. Add eggs, one at the time.
In a bowl combine bananas, milk and vanilla. Alternately add flour mixture and banana mixture until its combined. Stir in pecans. Spread evenly in pan.
3.Bake for about 80 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
Cool cake in pan or wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
