PAINTED PUMPKINS

Don’t you love these painted pumpkins?
We bought several of these pumpkins at our local grocery store the other day. It was incredibly inexpensive, including bigger size pumpkins too.
I loved looking at these pumpkins in front of my house, but I felt I need to make them little more attractive.
I got inspired by seeing some painted pumpkins in my neighborhood.
I finished this project in about 30 minutes while my hubby took the kids to the park.
Although this actually could have been a great crafting project with my little ones..
Show me one kid who doesn’t like to paint and get messy. Ha.

This is what I started with:

What I used for this easy, fun project:
– pumpkins
-white paint
– sharpie
-fabric and twine to embellish
-fabric and twine to embellish
– mod podge { exterior }

I started my project with painting polka dots on my biggest pumpkin.
Used a small paint brush and my off white paint.

Using my sharpie, I draw out my BOO word, one letter on each pumpkin.
To make sure the white paint is safe on my pumpkins, and could be left out in the rain too –
I used
 MOD PODGE
 to seal the paint.
Awesome!

I chose the same dotted fabric that I used on my front door Halloween wreath to tie a bow on the top of the pumpkin.
And Tada!
Beautiful painted Pumpkin is done!
