APPLE PIE BARS

November 11, 2013 By Aniko 1 Comment

Happy Monday!
Have some sweet, crunchy apples handy?
Here is a great apple pie bar recipe for you to try!
It’s easy to make and it won’t last long!
These apple bars are little bit different than your traditional apple pie.
I love to make this recipe when apples are in season.
We went to a close by apple orchard and picked some super juicy and super sweet apples with my kiddos.
It was a fun family day!We all enjoyed it an got home with some delicious, crunchy apples.
My grandma made these bars for me when I was a little girl.
Now, that my parents are here from Hungary I asked my mom to make it for me {she makes it as good as my grandma did :-) }
Our apples were so sweet that we did not have to put any sugar into the apple filling. Wow!
