Bathroom makeover-Kendrick Wall Mirrors with Kenroy HOme

Call me crazy! Right before the Holidays I figured why not to update the bathroom -ha! The best time to get it done. {wink}

Few month ago I was contacted by Kenroy Home and they offered me to check out their wonderful selection of mirrors and lamps. They sell fashionable mirrors and stylish, decorative lighting fixtures.I fell in love with their white, contemporary  Kendrck Wall Mirrors and the moment I saw these pretty wall mirrors a full picture of our NEW bathroom was born in my head.

Yep. That is how I function. I need a piece of inspiration and that piece of inspiration usually leads the whole project direction.

Did I mention  lately that I have a slight white addiction?? White is fresh, clean and goes with every possible color scheme.

Normally I am just the “designer” in the family when it comes to bigger, handy projects. This bathroom could not have been done without  my rockstar husband, who did all the hard work and sweat putting down the tiles in this room. Well,  originally the plan was to just put tiles on the floor, paint the cabinets and hang the mirrors.

Plan was quickly changed though. We had this 15 years old, outdated vanity paired with vinyl floor and we absolutely hated it. We actually hated it from the moment we had moved into our house. It was just never the perfect time to get started. You know there is never a perfect time when you plan to do something bigger.

So check out how this room looked before.

Oh, yes….I see your faces through my monitor!!Brutal orange…black-brown vanity and vinyl floor. The cabinets were oak before and we painted it to dark brown few years ago, then we added a DIY mirror frame around the huge mirror on the wall. It was a great update back then, but we were so ready to get rid of the orange walls ( as the master bedroom color was changed) and we sure wanted to add some style to this bathroom.

We found this amazing white and stylish vanity at IKEA and I thought it would be just fantastic with the Kendric Wall Mirrors.

…and they were…

My handyman hubby put gorgeous wooden looking titles down. We chose the dark grey color and I think it is stunning with all  the white surrounding.

The mirrors are sized 30″ x 39″ . They are so shiny, they have beautiful, white glossy finish and they could be mounted horizontally or vertically. We spaced them out a bit and positioned them all the way to the edge of the wall.

Between the vanities I added this little wooden rack that can hold baskets filled with daily necessities.

Bathroom makeover-11I chose to use coral as a domain color.

I spotted  this pretty color combo shower curtain at Target and I jumped on it right away.

So pretty… and it has every color I adore!

What can I say? I think I will take pretty long showers and baths in this new, airy, fresh bathroom. It does need a few wall arts and  drawer organizing so  after the holidays you sure will see some more updates of this room.

  1. This would be awesome in my half bath. We still have our builder grade mirror. I just changed the light and painted the bath and I have been looking for a funky mirror to jazz it up.

  2. Oh it turned out so pretty!!!! Love it!!!! I have several places this mirror would look great in our new home- possibly the powder room. It needs some personalization.
