FUR LETTERS-Placeofmytaste.com

Fur….oh so pretty!

Happy Monday you guys! Hope everyone had a relaxing weekend. We sure kept ourselves busy as usual. I have ants in my pants to  show you our master bathroom makeover which we worked on in the background. 🙂 Psst… it’s not today,  the reveal is tomorrow.

MY LATEST VIDEOS

Today I am finally sharing these pretty DIY fur letters with you! You probably spied them on my mantel if you toured my Christmas-y home.

As most of my projects, this was a pretty easy one to do and maybe one of my favorite easy ones-ha!

I will quickly show you how it’s done:-)

MATERIALS NEEDED:

large paper letters (from Jo-ann fabric)

faux fur (from Jo-ann fabric)

scissor

hot glue gun

!!!THAT’S IT!!!

Yep, this is all you need any 10 minutes out of your busy day to create these festive looking fur letters !

faux fur letters

  1. Have your faux fur laid out (face down) and place your letter on it. Draw out your letter shape, leaving a few inches on each side so you can nicely fold the fabric around your letters later.

2. Using hot glue gun, glue the fur onto your letters.

3. Cut off excess that is hanging over your letters.

Display your letters on your mantel, on your shelves – they will make great decoration for the holiday!!

TIP: fur is a little messy to work with, “get on your craft clothes” 🙂 “

These are so fun and they make the mantel look cozy. I also love the white wooden tree with the gold ornaments. I need to search your site because you probably made it too. The whole look of the mantel is fantastic!
