BREAKFAST ROOM REVEAL
It’s reveal time Friends! As you know, I was working on my breakfast nook/room in the past five weeks as part of the One Room Challenge that the sweet Linda from Calling it Home hosts each year! I participated last year with my OFFICE/CRAFT ROOM MAKEOVER, and it was so fun and exciting to finish a room in 6 weeks that it made me sign up for the challenge again.
Our breakfast room needed a little love as the room was dark, had no style and the furniture was awful! I showed this before picture throughout the five weeks, but here you go again:
Ghaw!! I am not even sure why this room had never been touched!
The beautiful part about this room makeover is that I only spent money on a few bottles of spray paint! How cool is that? I used the furniture I already had in the room and with just painting it over with bright colors I definitely achieved an entirely different, stylish, brand new look.
It’s crazy what a little paint can do, don’t you think?
Here is the list to doe’s I started out with 5 weeks ago:
–PAINT CHAIRS (plan is yellow at the moment but could change at any time in my word:)
– REFINISH TABLE ( medium brown)
– PAINT CHANDELIER ( I have this old chandelier from when we moved in and thinking about painting it green)
– ADD A CURTAIN
– ADD DIY NO SEW PLACEMATS
YAY! Do you see that all these to doe’s are scratched over and are actually done??? Wow! I totally overachieved myself!!!
Now I stop talking, and I will just let you enjoy our fun, bright breakfast room!
And of course, there is no reveal without a
BEFORE AND AFTER
So who is dropping in for breakfast??
I am totally in love with the makeover! I seriously AM! Now breakfast, dinner, coffee time, happy hours, chit-chat with friends will be a joy here!
