Sharing is caring!

This Floral Spring Mantel might just be my favorite of all times.

Pretty flowers and I are best friends, guys! Have you seen my latest FREE DESKTOP SCREENSAVER?

Yes – we get along well!:-) Maybe too well!

This unexpected Floral Spring Mantel was created on a whim, and it all started with a trip to Lidl ( it’s a Europian Grocery Store chain) – one of my favorite stores.

Roses were 1/2 price off, so I got 24 amazingly beautiful roses for $7.99. I seriously could not resist buying them.

And before I even cut the stems and added these beauties to a vase, another idea started circling my head. Why not make a moody floral arrangement and have a beautiful  Spring Mantel. I wasn’t planning on doing anything crazy, so this worked out perfectly.

So that’s the quicks story of my roses.

And here I am, sharing this beautiful Spring mantel vignette to get you inspired.

Thank you for joining me and so many other amazing blogger friends today for this great and super inspiring Spring Mantel Blog hop hosted by Krista over at The Happy Housie.

I love to see this pretty mantel dressed up differently each season. And of course, I like to see it differently decorated each year too. We built an extra chunky mantel in addition to our white DIY chunky mantel back in December.

The great thing about this “mobile” mantel that I can change it back to white/stained brown color at any time. Which totally a cool feature for a person who loves changing things around.:-)

So back to my Spring Mantel…

And more on that Floral Arrangement::

A few months ago I had a meet with a local florist friend, and she gave me some excellent tips on how to make a lovely centerpiece or floral arrangement. And I have been completely obsessed ever since. I took video of how I put this beauty together and will be sharing it soon!

I also made that art piece that I might consider offering as a Spring freebie soon!

The mirror ( that might be a new(er) piece to you) is actually an old upcycled mirror from many many years ago. I remembered I still had it up in my attic, so I got it back out.

And I am so glad I did.

I think it’s perfect for my current living room setting. Don’t you think?

The colors, those sexy blue chairs that you can see more of in this post, the moody floral arrangement, and little decor items work so well together. I hope you liked it and got a bit of Inspo by visiting here today.

  2. What a beautiful space! So much colour, texture and life…it’s all so stunning! And your mantel decorated for spring is the perfect touch!
