This year’s Christmas Home Decor tour is here, my friends!
I just love this time of the year, and sharing how I decorate my home for the Holidays has been a trend here, so today, I will show you around, and I hope you will love my little mini-tour.

If you are coming from Paint Me Pink, Welcome, I am sure you were in awe seeing Norma’s beautiful home. Happy to have you here!
This year I left decorating for last minute due to our unplanned, spontaneous trip to the Florida Keys. I still got everything under control and added simple touches of Christmas around the house.:-) The last few years I went with neutral colors, you can see my Neutral Christmas decor or last year’s Christmas home tour to see how I decorated in the previous years.

I dug out my large wreath I made a few years ago and hung it back on the front door. I found these LARGE HARMONY BELLS and added them to my wreath to spice it up a bit. Sometimes adding or taking away little things can change the look of the entire object.
This year I used some traditional colors; red and emerald green, as a cheery pop of color. I truly love the little change from the last few years. I don’t typically like to spend on new ornaments, but I spotted a beautiful collection of red and emerald green ornaments at Marshall’s, and that’s what set the theme for the year.
And crazy me…I also switched around a few things in the house. I pulled sofas and moved rugs around, and I am obsessed with the changes I made.
Shopping your house is seriously my best addiction!:-)
Ok! The door is open, and you are welcome to peek in to check out my Christmas home decor.
Christmas Entryway
The entryway in the house is pretty small, and there is not much to decorate. I made a real greenery garland (typing up a tutorial on how I made it!) and added a few little decorations to the top of the shoe cabinet.

Christmas Dining Room
I hung those DIY STAR DECORATIONS I made last week, pulled out the colorful rug I had in this space, and the last-minute invite ( yesterday!) over to a friend’s house (she is a florist) resulted in this stunning holiday centerpiece. I am absolutely obsessed with that large centerpiece I made.

I even set up a photo shoot for her, lol. I envisioned a moody setup, and I snapped a few pics. So pretty, isn’t it?

Christmas Kitchen decor
Simple is the best! Some red cheery pops here and there, and my kitchen looks lovely.

Christmas Living Room
We get a real Christmas tree each year. I love the smell and look of a real tree. I used the same basket method as I did for the last few years, and I still love the look of the tree in a basket. If you wonder how to put the Christmas tree in a basket check out the post I wrote on it. I also shared some of my favorite baskets that would be great as a tree stand HERE.

The red and emerald green ornaments are gorgeous. I adore them.

I added lots of real greenery to the mantel, a few pieces of candles, and ceramic houses from Target, and that’s it for this year’s Christmas home decor.!

I also added the metal ring that was dressed with the same type of greenery that I used for the mantel.

And guess what? Just because….
I built another box for my fireplace last weekend.:-)) We built a box ( white one) a few years ago, you can see how we made THE DIY MANTLE here. I have been wanting to have another color that I could change out anytime when I feel for a bit of change, so this past weekend it happened. And yay for that nice little change.
And then, to compliment that beautiful stained brown mantel box, I pulled in the leather sofa….
The Hamilton sofa used to be in the other room. And I decided to turn my house upside down to see how it would look in this space. I think it’s a YES here. Absolutely love it here.

This is my favorite leather sofa, and I know we are going to cozy up on it a lot during the cold months with the fire and the twinkle lights on.
My simple coffee table centerpiece came together from wooden vases, real greenery, and a few faux mini trees.

Love this view with the fireplace on, don’t you?! So warm, cozy and inviting!

And just a little sneak of our family room….
I will be sharing this room tomorrow in a separate post. I adore the Gingerbread cookie tree that the kids decorated, and I will be sharing some new addition to this room as well. Be sure to come back and check out this fun space tomorrow.
UPDATE:: the post on this fun room is up so sure to check out my COZY LIVING ROOM DECOR!
