Today I am sharing this easy DIY CHRISTMAS STAR DECORATION. You will see how simple and easy they are to make. It will be a great afternoon craft with kids, or just a lovely craft for a get together with friends (if you love crafting together!). BEHR sent me a small box of their new paint colors, brushes and painting supplies to use them on an easy DIY craft so I came up with these easy, Scandinavian style stars.
I am still wrapping my head around holiday decor. We just got back from vacation, and it’s hard to adjust from 88 to 24 degrees. It’s brutal! I know the web is full of beautiful Christmas home tours already, but my house is not ready just yet, my friends.
I don’t decorate early. I like Christmas, but I don’t think I could truly enjoy it for two months. Christmas is undoubtedly my favorite holiday of the year, though.
This easy Christmas DIY that I tackled the other day put me into the slow beginning of the holiday spirit. These Christmas stars turned out so cute that I thought It would be great to share it here on the blog so you can re-create them.
I plan to keep my holiday decor very simple, but cozy this year. (I think!). I hung these stars in my dining room, and they look great with my overall aesthetic.
They really do!
Let me show you how you can make these lovely CHRISTMAS STAR DECORATIONS!
Materials you need:
- wooden starts (got mine at Walmart!)
- paint brush
- painters tape
- paint (I used BEHR – vine leaf -N400-7)

- Tape off your desired design on the wooden stars.
- Paint the areas taped off with the chosen paint using a paint brush.
- Let it dry.
- Embellish your design with fresh tree branches. Use a hot glue gun to attach embellishments to your design.

Tada! I told you it is a super simple craft.
