Who doesn’t love delicious homemade applesauce?
As a busy mom of two young kiddos, I love nothing more than feeding my kiddos with homemade and healthy stuff that can be done in a short time. I know. It’s pretty hard sometimes and not always possible, but I try hard to feed my boys with good stuff. My kids are funny…one eats any vegetables I put in front of him and the other eats no veggies at all. For the one who is pickier, I try to incorporate as much fruit as possible into his diet.
One of our favorite fruits is Apple, especially in the fall season. We love to go and pick apples every year to a nearby farm. It is kind of like a family tradition and the boys always looking forward to it. From our last apple picking, we got home with two full bags of yummy and crunchy apples and guess what my kids wanted me to make….
A few weeks ago I was introduced to Fagor’s LUX Multi-cooker, and I could not wait to try something easy in my beautiful electric pressure cooker.
I picked the color copper and it’s not only stunning but fits right into my kitchen with its gorgeous design. You can cook a variety of meals in this all-in-one machine from meats, grains, desserts and even yogurt. Applesauce is a favorite snack in my house so making a large batch always a very good idea. My boys love to take it to school or eat it with a piece of cheese stick for an afternoon snack.
