ONE ROOM CHALLENGE: WEEK 3

Sharing is caring!

Wow! I am almost in denial of the thought that this is Week 3 of the One Room Challenge, guys!

When you are in the middle of a monster project, time flies faster than usual. Or does it just feel like that around here? CRAY- CRAY!

If you are new around here, let me fill you in what we are working on these days. We are makeovering our master bathroom for the One Room Challenge, and I am participating as a featured designer this time around. So exciting!

You can get caught up on MY PLANS HERE, and Week 2 progress HERE.

This week we are finishing up plumbing jobs and drywall jobs for the tile people to get started this weekend. We are completely changing the layout in the room, so we are moving pipes from one side to another. Because we are moving pipes to an exterior wall, we had to build out another wall into the room to hide the plumbing inside of it, so it does not get frozen during the wintertime.

I am super excited to see how much space we have gained already in the bathroom with just removing the wall.

So today, I wanted to give you a little peek of what my hardware choices were for this makeover.

I am partnering with SIGNATURE HARDWARE. Yay!

They have quality products, and their uniqueness immediately caught my eye.

I decided to mix finishes for my space…why? Because I like to see things be done uniquely. 🙂

I am going have a custom-built vanity by this amazing local artist/woodworker/photographer multitalented wonder, Mollie  (which I am super excited about!),  and I will have two black curved rectangular sinks sitting on the top of my custom built vanity.

For sink faucets, I chose a black matte finish Altus Wall Mouth bathroom faucet, and for shower hardware, I decided to go with the Bostonian Rainfall Nozzle Shower system . I think it will look amazing against the charcoal tile we will have going up on the walls.

The Bostonian Rainfall Nozzle Shower system comes in several finishes.

I am super excited to see this bathroom coming together.
