Rose Spritzer: A refreshing drink

| | | |

Sharing is caring!

It’s time to share a refreshing drink, so I am sharing this easy and yummy Rose Spritzer recipe today.

We are spending the next four months in Florida, and the warm weather calls for a refreshing drink from time to time.

Alright- so the “ROSE” in this title sounds like row-zay but I cannot find the adorable little accent mark to add for the life of me! LOL Seriously- if anyone knows how to add that little bit of punctuation, I am dying to know- so please comment or message me and share! Meanwhile, I will share this super refreshing Rose Spritzer with you… and have a sip myself. 🙂

Here is the Rose Spritzer recipe:

Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Rose
  • 6 oz. Grenadine (more if desired)
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 medium sized cucumber
  • 10 oz. seltzer water
  • 1/2 c. raspberries (optional)
  • 32 oz. Pitcher 3/4 full of ice

Instructions

Slice your cucumber and lemons thin and pretty to go into your pitcher or glasses.
    Add grenadine to the pitcher.
Put all the sliced fruit and raspberries into the pitcher.
Pour the entire bottle of Rose into the pitcher.
Add the seltzer water to fill the remainder of the pitcher.
    Stir and serve- enjoy!

A few things worth mentioning:

You could totally make this a bit stronger and sweeter by adding a fruit liqueur like peach schnapps or Chambord. So, that may be worth a try depending on your company and tolerance. You could also switch the grenadine out for cherry juice if that’s more to your liking.

I used a plain seltzer, but you could jazz it up a bit more by adding a lemon-lime or raspberry-flavored one if you so desire.

I use what I have on hand most times unless I try to recreate a recipe I find elsewhere, but even then, I think it’s nice to improvise. Sometimes when you switch things out, they turn out even better! So don’t be scared to make a swap or too in a recipe.

Beautiful cocktail with a blue background and pitcher

I have made a few other cocktails I am constantly reminded of at this time of year. Truly though- nothing makes my taste buds sing like my Strawberry Margarita!

And here is a thirst quenching party idea with a Peach Moscato Punch Recipe.

So, there you have it! Some refreshing drinks to get into the spirit of spring soon!

Cheers,
