SIMPLE SWEET CREAM recipe

June 15, 2018 By Christine 2 Comments

Today I am sharing my simple sweet cream recipe!

Did I ever tell you how much I LOOOOVVVEEE my coffee?! I mean- truly I can not live without coffee. I generally have several cups a day beginning with one cup to wake me up! So, it’s probably no big surprise I am sharing one of my favorite ways to make my coffee rich and sweet with this Horizon Organic Half & Half I picked up at Target today.

If you’ve tried my recipes before you know I don’t like things super sweet. I will also share with you today that I just don’t care for flavored creamers.  I do like to add a touch of sugar to my coffee, (usually latte) it is soooo annoying when I get distracted and don’t add the sugar when my coffee is hot HOT. No one wants to see a layer of sugar at the bottom of the coffee cup when you’ve already downed the whole barley sweetened cup… right!?

This Simple Sweet Cream is the perfect amount of sweet- no added flavors- and the sugar is already dissolved before I even go to add it. Win-win, baby!

Since we are on the subject of coffee… I used to have a pretty standard Keurig Machine which I used multiple times a day. I thought my husband was crazy when he talked about replacing it! But, you know how we have to choose our battles with our husbands- and he won this one. We purchased a kind of fancy espresso and coffee machine combo and, OH my gosh! It is so good!! I have friends randomly drop by just for a cup and really- it might have made my habit even worse because it tastes so good.

So let’s get to the point and my simple sweet cream recipe!

You can totally multiply this recipe if you’d like to make more at one time. It stays fresh for about 1 week- 10 days. I would just not keep it past that.

I also couldn’t manage to get out of Target without a mini splurge for this completely gorgeous Stoneware Mallorca Mug 24oz –  from Opalhouse™! Do you love it!?

OOOooh- do you know about Cartwheel? Download it to save oodles on your Target shopping. You can save 5% off this Horizon Organic Half & Half between Jun 10th and July 7th! Just when you use the Target Cartwheel app– cool huh?

This Simple Sweet Cream is so versatile you might NEED to make more! Think, peaches or berries and cream over oatmeal or cereal. Plus, you could always use this delicious, simple sweet cream to whip up a White Russian and finish your day with a bang!

You are so adorable! I love that shot of you with your coffee. I’m a black coffee drinker, the darker the roast the better too!
