Today I am sharing a DIY Macrame Rose Spring wreath.
Spring is right around the corner, friends.
YES!! I can’t wait for warmer weather.
I love to add a new door wreath to my front door each season, so I made up this pretty door hanging for the upcoming spring-y months. I decided to skip a trip to the dollar store and use things I had available. It’s a good thing. I am joining my friend, Krista, at The Happy Housie and a bunch of other talented friends for a blog hop, so if you are looking for different ideas, be sure to check out their creations at the end of the post.
How did this MACRAME ROSE SPRING WREATH came to life?
I wandered down to my messy garage ( yes, it is messy!) to find a wreath base, and I got into some old placemats that were lying around from a few years ago, and I haven’t been used anymore. I thought it would be great if I could repurpose those placemats.
Oh, and of course, I have a LOT of scrap macrame cotton cords on hand. I mean, way too much, so it was no brainer that I could make some pretty macrame roses out of those scrap cotton cords.
I also had used some faux floral greens to embellish the macrame roses.
All this beauty was done in less than 15-20 minutes, and now I have a gorgeous ( super simple and unique) door wreath for the upcoming spring months.
I made up a short video on ho you can replica this easy DIY SPRING WREATH PROJECT, so I hope u will enjoy it.
Things you will need for the wreath:
- round placemat
- cotton cords or yarn
- acrylic paint (optional)
- hot glue gun
Here are some of my favorite wreaths I made over the years…
