DIY: Earring Holder

January 2, 2013 By Aniko Leave a Comment

Earring Holder
Do you like fashion?.And perhaps you have too many fashion jewelry? My answer is YES to both questions… I used to store my jewelry in one big box until i saw a great idea at one of my friend’s place.
I made my first earring holder few years ago(see below) which i loved ..I used an old picture frame and an old tights to make it.
Over the years i added some new pieces to my collection. It started looking pretty crowded and i couldn’t fit anymore earrings on it.

Couple weeks ago I was walking around in Home Depot and  i saw these metal sheets-$10/sheet(see below)- which instantly made my mind working to create a new design to display my earrings.

 Things you will need:

-metal sheet
-picture frame
-metal cutter scissors(this metal sheet is very thin so you may be able to cut it with regular scissors)

All you need to do is to cut the metal sheet to fit in to the your picture frame. If your frame doesn’t have little metal pieces sticking out to hold the sheet(mine had), just insert little screws to the frame to hold the sheet tight.

All set. Earring holder was made in less than 20 minutes.
Display your earring holder on your dresser , hang it on your wall in your bedroom or in your closet.
