Sharing is caring!

This post is sponsored by Blurb Books. All opinions are 100% on my own.

As a photographer, I take way too many photographs but what I don’t do enough is to print those special memories that I freeze. Why, you ask! The answer is pretty simple. With all the social media outlets in today’s modern world it is so simple to share memories, right? BUT!

There is a BUT!

Having a book printed on your coffee table is a whole lot different than scrolling on Facebook and looking at images. Am I right?

Now that the holidays are right around the corner, this is the perfect opportunity to create something meaningful for your spouse, for your parents, for your kiddos or even just for yourself.

Blurb Books are here to make your gift giving woes easier with their new Layflat Photo Books. Layflat books are designed with seamless spreads; Blurb’s new Layflat paper type allows you to display your most dreamy images through beautiful continuous imagery that spreads across two pages. I enjoyed having this feature, as I was able to pull my most favorite photos to be displayed on two pages. Have fun playing around with your book layout: go corner-to-corner and edge-to-edge across an entire two-page spread. This is a fabulous feature for group shots, wide-angle ceremony shots, and emotional moments. They make a grand impact as they fill the width of the whole spread without losing any part of the image to the center.

Every year we take a trip to our favorite pumpkin patch and apple orchard in the mountains. Now that it’s our fun family tradition, I decided to make a gorgeous coffee table book using our favorite moments captured on our fun-filled days.

With Blurb’s easy, user-friendly tool, called BookWright, I was able to design the layout I loved in minutes. There are other options to create your book as well, such as Bookify, Adobe InDesign, and PDF Uploader.

The Layflat paper type is double-thick, 100 lb. stock with a slight sheen and is incredibly high quality. I was super impressed when I received my lovely coffee table book.

What do you say?  Will you create your Blurb Book? Have you ever thought about creating a book of your work? What kind of book would you create?

Blurb makes it easy to create photo books and magazines in print, and digital formats so have fun with it!

Cheers for the holidays guys!
