SEASONAL SIMPLICITY CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR

Sharing is caring!

Christmas home tour time, you all!

Today I will walk you through my holiday home. The sweet Krista from The Happy Housie and April from House by Hoff are hosting this fun blog hop so you will see many amazing holiday homes this week.

Wow! Where have this year go? It feels like it was just yesterday when I shared my Neutral Christmas Home tour.  Well, this year the decor hasn’t changed much as I loved everything I had last year and I thought it was unnecessary to spend any penny on Christmas decor when I have everything from previous years, and I love them. So I pulled my neutral decor out and decorated my home very simply.

I added minimal Christmas decor to the Entryway this time. Just yesterday I realized that I was missing something from this space, so I made that stunner evergreen garland in like 10 minutes using Christmas tree branches from the yard. (You might be able to catch the HOW TO in my Instagram Stories:-))

I only added that wreath that I made to the other side of the entryway. I like the smell of a real Christmas tree so I cut some real tree branches and stuck them into a grapevine wreath. ( And yes, you see my everyday life in here…I didn’t think it was needed to move anything just for the image- ha. Keep it real, my friends!:-)

I added some greeneries onto the top of my macrame shelf to bring a little Christmas-y feel into this living room. Plus I had to decorate mommy’s mini macrame tree. Don’t you love that cute little tree? I swear that’s my favorite addition to this year’s Christmas decor. Those fun tassels were made out of scrap rope. Learn how to make yours HERE.

I shared my simply decorated dining room last week, see more of this space HERE.

Our kitchen got a beautiful makeover a few weeks ago, if you haven’t seen details, you can see more in the Kitchen Reveal post. I added some Christmas-y touches in here as well. Nothing crazy but just enough, I think.

And my family room with the ‘big tree’.

We got White Pine tree first time this year. Do I love it? Ehh, it’s nice but Fraser Fir is the one for me, so next year we are going back to that. But I like this tree, especially sprayed with fake snow.:-) Those plaid ornaments were made few years ago. Super easy to make them, check them out HERE.

You guys!I still haven’t shared the big chunky blanket tutorial, but it’s coming you all!  I promise.:-)

And the mantel that I shared last week…

.I am crazy about anything woodsy, so I brought in the mini trees I cut last year for my outdoor decor and the wreath that hung on my front door last year and I made up a nice woodsy feel in here.

Oh and not to forget my little reading corner in my bedroom. See more of this corner HERE.

That’s it, my friends, this year. Keep your decor simple, add lots of neutral elements and most of all focus on family time in this beautiful holiday season.

Merry Christmas!
