TAN LEATHER SOFAS
I get lots of questions about my tan leather sofa so today I am sharing some thoughts and my favorite tan leather sofas with you all.
Couple years ago I got on the tan leather sofa bandwagon, and I will never regret that. I hesitated for the longest time when we redesigned our living room of what sofa do I want, and I kept coming back to the tan leather sofas. I knew for sure that I wanted a leather sofa, but I also knew that these sofas run on the high-end, price wise. And when it comes to spending money I like to make sure that I don’t make quick decisions. I loved leather sofas, and I told myself that I convinced myself that if I invest this kind of money just once it will be a great sofa for us for many years to come.
Can you hear my voice here? Trust me; it was actually hard for me to pull the trigger because I am a budget shopper and I save everywhere I can. Anyways. I listened to my instincts and I went for it!
And man! The best purchase EVAH!!
I found a few leather sofas that got my attention. The Hamilton sofa from West Elm was one of my favorites along with the Dekalb leather sofa. I loved both of these sofas a lot, but the Dekalb had a darker tone leather finish, and I thought it was just too dark for my room. The Dekalb also was a wider and longer a bit.
The Hamilton sofa was the winner for me. The color, the style, the feel, the amazing and soft leather…..Everything!
The Hamilton sofa made with high-quality leather, with a natural look and soft, waxy texture. Made with top-grain Italian hide; full aniline dyed and hand finished. Each sofa has a different tone, and that’s the beauty of it. I went to visit the store so I could have a feel of this beauty in person and I fell in love.

Leather sofas get better with age and usage, right? When we brought this piece of beauty to ou home, I smelled the leather for many months. I still do when I sit on it and me ♥ it. We don’t have any particular cleaning method for my leather sofa. I like to wipe off any stain that gets on the surface( I have two small children if you didn’t know:-)) and that’s it.
If you are thinking about getting a leather sofa, I say go for it! The Hamilton is a grat buy, it’s on the higher end price wise, but I say it’s worth every penny! We could not be happier with our purchase!
Below I listed some of my favorite tan leather sofas.

Hi – just curious how the couch has held up over the years and if you’re still happy with it?
OH MY GOODNESS! My favorite piece of furniture to date. I even dragged it to our camper when we left to our cross country trip last year! And it still smells amazing:-) Forever winner for me!
What color is your West Elm Hamilton couch? I dont see a tan color listed. I only see Burnt Sienna on their website. I love yours!
Mine is the Burnt Sienna. The color may differ since it’s leather. Mine is a tiny bit on the lighter side. But you might also get the lighter one.:-) I love my sofa by the way!!!:-) Xo
Do you know what color your Hamilton Leather Couch is? It looks like Saddle Leather. I don’t love the current colors of the Hamilton Couch online but I’m wondering if it looked different in person.
