CREATING A TEXTURED FAUX BRICK WALL

Sharing is caring!

This is the second part of the FAUX BRICK WALL post I shared recently. Have you seen the post on HOW TO INSTALL FAUX BRICK PANELING? That’s where you would start if you are trying to create a look as I have in my son’s room.

You can create a big impact to any of your walls in your home just by installing these super fun FAUX BRICK PANELS that you can purchase for about $28/sheet at your local Home Depot or Lowe’s. I was skeptical at first, but I thought why not give it a try and see what I can create with these panels.

My son turned nine years old this summer, and I surprised him with a fun BIG BOY ROOM makeover. He always thought I am the BEST mom haha but after he was able to settle in his new room that feeling doubled lol. I had such a fun time creating his space, and he sure loves spending time there.

So today’s post will show you how to CREATE a TEXTURED LOOK on your walls.

I don’t have a tutorial written out, but I have a short video for you to watch where I explain what I did to make the faux brick panels look texture-y.

Enjoy and have fun creating your textured look!

Here are some other awesome DIY tutorials for you, in case you feel handyman (girl)!

  1. Hi thinking of doing this in my restaurant, does the plaster of Paris stick really well? I’m afraid of people’s inquiring fingers. Thanks in advance for your time. Really enjoy your tutorials. Gina Village Inn Pizza
