MANTEL DECOR UPDATE WITH SERENA & LILY BAMBOO MIRROR

I am sharing my summer mantel decor update with the fabulous Serena & Lily Lanai bamboo mirror.

I am partnering with Serena and Lily to share their amazing Lanai Bamboo mirror which I have been crushing on for the longest time. I thought it would be THE perfect piece to freshen up my summer mantel in our living room. It’s been a while since I shared a mantel decor update though.  I’ve had quite a few different versions of mantel decor already, but I never used a large mirror as a focal point. Until now.:-)

I was ready to switch out my large painting from above the mantel, and I envisioned the beautiful Lanai Mirror is the perfect piece to replace my canvas. My large picture looked beautiful, but it’s no secret that I tend to like changes around here, so I thought I’ll give that astounding large bamboo mirror a try. I envisioned the mirror being hung and decorated with summer greens and other decor pieces to make it look stand out.

The frame is wrapped entirely in natural rattan and the detailed design is phenomenal. I love to incorporate textures into my home decor and I feel that this mirror just what exactly it adds to my living room.

I am absolutely loving the new look of the living room having the large mirror as the focal point. It just goes so well with the white surroundings and it creates a very serene look. I hung my friend, Frank (my kids and I call him Frank lol) right below the mantel which I know is an unusual place to hang decor items but I adore him there. What do you think?

I also rearranged my shelfie decor in our DIY built in bookcase, and I quite like it like this.:-)

 

My favorite thing is to make small changes to my home decor. Sometimes just switching off canvases, rearranging shelving decor, tossing new pillows on the sofa makes a great impact on a boring, dull decor.

And guess what? The best thing about this Lanai bamboo mirror is that I can already see in my head this mirror being hung in my mudroom. So when the time comes, she will find her new place in the house! The mirror is offered in two different sizes.

I picked the large one that has the following dimensions and it fits my fireplace perfectly.

• 30″W x 1″D x 40″H overall.
• Mirror: 24″W x 35″H.
• Approx. 28 lbs
